Bethany Clark

Bethany Clark

Main Session Speaker

Bethany Clark was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. Bethany graduated with a degree in Middle Grades Education from Union University located in Jackson, TN, then completed her student teaching at Academia Los Pinares, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

During her college years, she served with NAMB as a missionary to Puerto Rico and then served the next 4 years as a counselor and director of The Master’s Inn Children’s Village in Altavista, VA. It was through those connections the Lord lead her to Andrews, NC where she became married to her husband Shawn and is a mom to 5 wonderfully crazy boys. She attends Red Oak Church and teaches 7th and 8th graders at Andrews Middle School.
Bethany is looking forward to seeing the Lord’s hand at work in this weekend at Truett. She prays the Lord will use the time together to spur us into a deeper walk with Jesus.
Julie Brubaker

Julie Brubaker

Worship Leader

Julie is a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful daughters. She’s been involved in corporate worship since she was sixteen years old, often in the role of leading the church’s praise team. She has a strong gift in inviting people to worship the Lord with her, with a special emphasis on lyrics that are strongly rooted in Scripture, including a song that she wrote and recorded (You do as You Please-Julie B.)
Her family, including her husband Matt who works full-time at Truett, attends MountainView Church. She’s excited to worship the Lord together with the ladies God will bring to this year’s retreat. She is praying that the weekend will embody Ephesians 5:19, “Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord.”
