Our Conference Center is a great place to stay with new, comfortable mattresses, updated lighting, Wi-Fi, a common area to hang out and enjoy coffee, and the convenience of a true getaway for the weekend.

Bethany Clark

Bethany Clark

Main Session Speaker

Bethany Clark was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. Bethany graduated with a degree in Middle Grades Education from Union University located in Jackson, TN, then completed her student teaching at Academia Los Pinares, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

During her college years, she served with NAMB as a missionary to Puerto Rico and then served the next 4 years as a counselor and director of The Master’s Inn Children’s Village in Altavista, VA. It was through those connections the Lord lead her to Andrews, NC where she became married to her husband Shawn and is a mom to 5 wonderfully crazy boys. She attends Red Oak Church and teaches 7th and 8th graders at Andrews Middle School.

 
Bethany is looking forward to seeing the Lord’s hand at work in this weekend at Truett. She prays the Lord will use the time together to spur us into a deeper walk with Jesus.

Worship Leader

Julie is a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful daughters. She’s been involved in corporate worship since she was sixteen years old, often in the role of leading the church’s praise team. She has a strong gift in inviting people to worship the Lord with her, with a special emphasis on lyrics that are strongly rooted in Scripture, including a song that she wrote and recorded (You do as You Please-Julie B.
 
Her family, including her husband Matt who works full-time at Truett, attends MountainView Church. She’s excited to worship the Lord together with the ladies God will bring to this year’s retreat. She is praying that the weekend will embody Ephesians 5:19, “Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord.”

Katie McDonald has lived and worked as a missionary, alongside her husband and two children, since 2007 in Antigua, Guatemala. During this season of her family is living in Western North Carolina. Katie has a big heart connecting with people, she doesn’t mind tear and dearly loves to laugh too.
 
Her hope, for the Woven Women’s Conference, is to see women of God encourage one another as sisters. In addition, she is looking forward to women being strengthened as they seek God, through His word, together. 
Tracy & Ruthie Salter

Tracy & Ruthie Salter

Breakout Speaker

Tracy and Ruthie Salter are excited to be bringing a breakout session together. They are both from Sylva, NC! Tracy is the Center Branch Manger for Blue Ridge Home Care in Asheville, Brevard, and Hendersonville! Ruthie is the Administrative Assist at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Sylva, where they both are faithful members. They are both very passionate about being the hands and feet of Jesus in all ways! The opportunity to share what’s on their hearts, “Different Ways to Do Quiet Time!” They are looking forward to the opportunity of sharing their hearts with you!
Jodi Tollie

Jodi was born and raised in Cullowhee, here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She is a medical assistant for a specialist office. At the age of 17 she gave my heart and life to Christ. Jodi is currently am a member at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Recenly, she stepped out of her comfort zone and fully trusted in Christ by helping lead her church’s Women’s Ministries, and been blessed to discover she has a huge heart for that ministry. She is looking forward to this time together as sisters in Christ and doing life with one another.
 
Her hope, for the Woven Women’s Conference, is to see women of God encourage one another as sisters. In addition, she is looking forward to women being strengthened as they seek God, through His word, together.
