I’m a Pastor’s Kid born and raised in Western North Carolina. I’ve been married for 25 years to Pastor Aaron Langston. Two adult children along with a precious, giant schnoodle dog complete our family. In March 2020, Aaron and I planted the Peaks Church where Aaron serves as the Pastor and I lead the women’s ministry. Both Aaron and I are bi-vocational. Beckie is a digital media and marketing director for a local pregnancy center.

Why are you excited to be part of the Truett Woven Women’s Conference?

“Women’s ministry is my passion. We thrive when we are in strong, Christ-centered relationships with other women. I absolutely love my role in building that kind of community. My circle of sisters in Christ is literally what helps me survive most days. If you have never been to a faith-driven and Biblically-based women’s retreat, it’s a must. I have never experienced anything more reviving and refreshing. We get to step away from all our responsibilities for a hot minute, fellowship, rest our minds, and most importantly, spend time with God. We are going to be discussing “The Kingdom Within Me.” What does it mean to grasp that Kingdom and then extend it to the world around us? Two women in the Bible that you probably are not expecting will help us look at this. Book your spot. Invite friends. Most importantly, I challenge you to bring someone unchurched! Maybe even pay for them to come or have your church group sponsor them. We are to be a light to the world, a city on a hill. Shine that light into a dark place and see what Jesus can do. It will not only change a life for His Kingdom, but it will build your faith too! I can’t wait to see you in March.”

There is a special place in my heart for the sacred time when women gather together to realign their lives to focus on the One who abundantly fills our cup. It is an honor to join in fellowship at the Truett Woven Women’s Conference. A life passion of mine is Christian education, in which I (along with my amazing team) strive to provide the tools and resources to students that will equip them to develop a biblical worldview and the confidence to defend their faith.  A Biblical worldview is like a muscle that must be intentionally and consistently flexed to battle the fervent input of culture. We will work together to identify and evaluate our worldviews as we journey through what Scripture says about this aspect of our lives.
