The camp has great hotel style accommodations at their 20 room Conference Center. Each room has at least one new mattress, provided linens, Wi-Fi, updated lighting, and private restrooms. There is also a lounge in the building for relaxing and games with others.
Truett has excellent food that is prepared fresh for each meal crafted from a menu that is chosen for the needs o f each particular group. Meals feature entrees, sides, salad bar, and of course sweet tea among other beverages.
All of the activities listed above are no extra charge! You’ll find out why there are few places more fun than a camp in the beautiful setting of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Getting together with other believers is an edifying experience. You will have plenty of opportunities to speak life into each other’s lives while you also will have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy personal devotions and prayer on your own.

What are the accommodations like?
Our Conference Center has 20 rooms. 3 of the rooms have a single King bed, the other 17 have 2 beds, including 1 Queen bed. In the rooms are a private bathroom, dresser, table, and nightstand. Linens are provided, but you will need to bring your own toiletries. Wi-Fi is avaiable in the building along with a coffee maker, ice machine, and lounge area.
Where is Truett Camp?
Truett Camp is in Hayesville, NC, which is halfway between Franklin and Murphy. It’s less than ten minutes from the Georgia line and about half an hour from the Tennessee line. With nearly 90 acres, the camp enjoys a large piece of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Nearby is located Lake Chatuge, many hiking trails, and great local stores.
How much does it cost?
For single occupancy it’s $195 per person. For double occupancy it’s $157 per person. Lodging, meals, and activities are included in both prices. All lodging will be in our Conference Center.
What kind of activities will be offered?
The activities offered will be programmed by the NC Baptist Aging Ministry (BAM), but are likely to include Group Nature Walks, Jeopardy, Crafting, Danging through the Decades, and more.
