Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,  since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23 – 24

Work Days

The work will consist of a variety of tasks based on your skills and camp’s needs. It may range from cleaning to landscaping to painting to construction projects. Whatever the job, the purpose will remain the same, to help the overall ministry of the camp.

Are you on Facebook or Instagram? Do you send out monthly newsletters? Did you know the easiest way to help Truett grow is to just SPREAD THE WORD! Something as simple as liking our posts, tagging your friends, or sharing our events in your circle will have an eternal impact as we reach people for Christ!

On Saturday we will be inviting the local community to join us for an Open House. Activities, food, and camp tours will be happening. This will be a great time for our volunteers to show off the work they’ve accomplished and will help our efforts to recruit more campers for the summer.

As a celebration for what The Lord accomplishes through those that come during April, we will be hosting a worship service on Sunday morning, April 25, to cap off our time together. We hope that you will make time to worship together with us in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!

Come and get your volunteer on

Acts 20:35 “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ “

Find out for yourself why this experience is such an incredible blessing to those who participate. Our focus is on a big push during the week of April 21-25. But we are open to volunteers all month, indeed all year! Every person that helps is a huge blessing and plays an invaluable role in our ministry efforts to teach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Volunteers do have an application so we can get to know you better. In exchange, we have housing available and up to 8 RV slots available with full-hook ups for those that prefer that option.

“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” – Elizabeth Andrew

Enjoy “all the ways to serve

We also are in need of summer camp volunteers. These serve an important role in the kitchen, camp nurse, and/or with the maintenance of the property. If you’re interested in that, please click the link below.

Saturday April 24 we will be opening our doors to the community to check out the camp for themselves. Thanks to volunteers like you, we know camp will be in tip-top shape. This will be a great opportunity for us to connect with potential campers, and for them to see the great strides camp has made in the past few years.

April 25 we will be having a worship service together to culminate our time in the month of April. This will happen through worship and a message delivered here in the heart of the Blude Ridge Mountains at Truett. You’ll leave camp on a high note as we worship the Lord together.
