Grandparent Camp

Grandparent Camp allows kids (6-12 years old) to attend camp with their grandparent(s)! The camp will include many of our traditional camp activities adjusted to allow grandparents and grandchildren alike to create memories together.

The program is designed to allow a positive experience for all. Participants will enjoy hotel-style accommodations, great meals, worship, and outdoor recreation.

Your grandchild(ren) will be thrilled to enjoy three days of quality time and fun with their grandparents.

INVEST IN YOUR INHERITANCE

Childhood is the uniquely designed time to mold a child’s heart toward God. Your most important investment is time spent with your grandchildren!

MAKE LASTING MEMORIES

Enjoy the fun and laughter of making quality memories that will last a life time. Get away with God and your grandchildren in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!

LEAVE A LEGACY

Give them your blessings. Give them the hope of your life in Christ. It’s never too late to light the torch for them to carry, it’s never too late to LEAVE A LEGACY!

Amazing Recreation

Truett will set the activities and schedule for the week to ease the stress off grandparents and allow the grandkids to burn energy while having fun. Grandparents are welcome to join in all activities.

The first part of being prepared is being informed!

Here are some answers to our most commonly asked questions.

What will the accommodations be like?

Our hotel rooms feature two queen beds per room with private bathroom facilities. For families that need more beds, our bunkhouses will be available with twin-sized bunks and two private bathrooms per room. Grandparents and grandchildren will stay in the same room.

What do I need to pack?

Linens and towels are provided in the Conference Center rooms. You will need to bring your own towels for pools. We recommend water bottles, Bible, sunscreen, two pairs of shoes, toiletries, and enough clothes for the few days. If staying in the bunkhouse you will need to bring pillows & linens.

When is check-in?

Check-in starts on Friday at 3:00 p.m. We recommend arriving before the 5:30 p.m. dinner at the latest.

Can multiple grandparents come? Multiple grandchildren?

Yes! Absolutely! And you’ll get the best value this way. Each person is only an extra $60! Please keep in mind that the camp is designed for children aged 6 to 12. If you have a child that does not fit in that age range please contact the Summer Camp Coordinator (828-389-8828, ext. 5903).

What steps are taken to ensure safety?

All staff and volunteers undergo a background check. The camp is inspected on an annual basis. Since 2020, the camp has received a perfect 100 health and safety rating from the NC Department of Health & Safety.
