Camp is an amazing opportunity to live out your faith, improve your inter-personal skills, and be part of a small body of Christ to positively impact His Kingdom.

Applicants will have housing provided, $200 a week salary, and more! We ask that all applicants be at least 18 years of age. We prefer applicants to have completed some college and/or camp experience but it is not required.
Title: RISE (Real Internship and Spiritual Experience) Intern
Reports to: Summer Camp and Special Programs Coordinator
To assist the Summer Camp and Special Programs Coordinator with managing all aspects of the camp experience for guests and summer staff.
A. A professing Christian committed to following the Lord in word, deed, and spirit.
B. Aligns with the Norht Carolina Baptist Convention Baptist Faith and Message (https://ncbaptist.org/beliefs/).
C. Loves God, loves others, and is able to demonstrate that in workplace ministry.
D. Is committed to the mission and core values of Truett Conference Center & Camp.
E. Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
F. Competent in Microsoft Office, email, and some social media platforms.
G. Capable problem solver
H. Strong work ethic
I. Great social skills
J. Versatile and willing to assist in all aspects of Christian camping
K. Physically fit enough to walk/move about the sometimes rough terrain on camp without assistance, lift and carry objects, and sit and stand for long periods of time as the job requires
L. Be neat and organized in appearance, workspace, living space and other buildings around campus
2. Primary Responsibilities
A. Help all guests have a great and impactful experience
B. Facilitate recreational activities
C. Assist in the departments of food service, maintenance, and housekeeping as needed
D. Qualified and interested interns may receive lifeguard training
E. Assist Summer Camp and Special Programs Coordinator in all areas or as assigned
F. Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of summer staff
G. Plan and help implement Truett events including summer camp sessions
H. Assist in marketing efforts

A. Shows by example a solid spiritual walk with Jesus Christ
B. Quality of interaction with guests
C. Positive impact on the performance of all part-time staff
D. Effectiveness in managing efforts of summer staff and volunteers
E. Ability to cooperate and collaborate with full-time staff, summer staff, and with other interns
F. Whether Truett’s reputation has been improved by this staff member’s performance
